Medical & Academic Background
I hold a medical degree as a general practitioner and furthered my education by earning a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Human Resource Management. My clinical journey includes serving on the front lines of primary healthcare at a public health center (Puskesmas) in North Sumatra, Indonesia.
This grassroots clinical experience taught me a profound lesson: protecting public health goes beyond prescribing medication in an examination room—it requires effectively managing health systems and actively educating the public.

In today’s era of digital “infodemics,” combating health hoaxes is a core part of my professional mission. When the COVID-19 pandemic struck, I actively fought against viral misinformation and was awarded a scholarship by the Tempo Institute for my efforts in combating coronavirus hoaxes.
I regularly analyze and debunk alternative medicine claims and viral health trends through an objective, scientific lens—ranging from the scientific facts behind chiropractic therapy and acupuncture to the health risk implications of modern lifestyle choices.

Beyond my clinical practice, I am an active writer, medical speaker, and coffee enthusiast . In fact, the name of this website is inspired by a book I authored titled “Panduan Menjalani Pendidikan Kedokteran (WhiteCoatHunter)“, a comprehensive guide for navigating medical education.
I regularly contribute opinion columns to major Indonesian national media outlets such as detik.com and Mojok.co. My writings cover a wide array of topics, from mental health resilience during a pandemic to public service management. I firmly believe in elevating healthcare management paradigms—shifting the focus of public service from merely achieving “patient satisfaction” to cultivating genuine public well-being and happiness.
